People are stories. I've had the privilege of visiting so many different countries and cultures, meeting and photographing people all over the world and being a part of their lives for short moments of time. In a portrait, in a moment, I try to capture their story. Who they are can be seen in the expressions on their faces, in their eyes, and in the settings around them. Every person, every story, both joyful and somber, is a valuable gift that I am grateful to have experienced.
